Tragedy in Bosnia: Influencer Adna Rovanin-Omerbegovic Dies Days After Wedding



What was meant to be the happiest day of her life turned into unimaginable heartbreak. Adna Rovanin-Omerbegovic, a 26-year-old Bosnian influencer and beauty entrepreneur, suddenly fell ill during her wedding reception in Sarajevo. She was rushed to hospital after collapsing, where her condition worsened and she slipped into a coma.

Just two days later, the young bride tragically passed away, leaving her new husband Faris, along with family, friends, and thousands of followers, devastated.

According to Croatian lifestyle magazine Story, a concussion is suspected to have caused her sudden illness, but the exact cause of death remains unclear. Authorities are awaiting the results of an autopsy as investigations continue.

Adna was not only known for her online influence, but also for running her own beauty salon in Sarajevo, where she built a reputation as a hardworking and cheerful presence. Tributes have poured in across social media, with many remembering her as kind, radiant, and full of life.

Her funeral was held on Wednesday at the Bare Cemetery in Sarajevo, with prayers offered at the Mosque of Kobilja Glava. Friends and followers expressed their grief, with one writing: “Yesterday you were among us, today we send you off. Rest in peace, dear Adna.”
