Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has expressed pride in her daughter, Yolanda Okereke, as she hosted a masterclass on costume design.
The session, which attracted several young creatives, provided a platform for Okereke to share her expertise and passion for costume design. Participants were taken through practical lessons on the art of storytelling through costumes.
Henshaw, who attended the event, described the experience as “all shades of amazing,” commending the participants for their eagerness to learn. She also shared her perspective as an actor, encouraging the budding designers to remain committed to their craft.
Posting a video clip from the class on Instagram, Henshaw wrote:
“Family isn’t just blood. It is also those whom your spirit and energy align with over the years. Those who have your back through thick n thin, encourage you, and pray for you.
I am super proud of you, dear daughter, @yolandaokereke. Keep soaring higher in the name of Jesus. May God bless all the participants and those who supported this vision in every way.”
