Erica Nlewedim Considers Relocating After Lagos Flood Ordeal

Former Big Brother Naija housemate and actress Erica Nlewedim has shared her frustration over the severe flooding in Lagos, revealing it has made her reconsider her living situation.

The reality star recounted her experience on X (formerly Twitter) after heavy rain in Lekki left her stranded and overwhelmed.

According to Erica, floodwaters seeped into her car while she was driving. When she arrived at her destination, her vehicle refused to start. Though eventually fixed, she then endured hours of traffic — only for her day to end with a flat tyre.

“I almost cried today! Flood was so high water entered my car as I was driving, then when I got to my destination my car refused to turn on again and later when it was fixed I spent hours in traffic and got a flat tire! Maybe moving to Accra is not a bad idea,” she wrote.

Her candid post has sparked reactions online, with many Lagos residents sympathizing and sharing similar experiences of battling flooding, gridlock, and infrastructure challenges.

Erica hinted that a move to Accra, Ghana, could be a fresh start away from the chaos of Lagos life.
