Controversial Nigerian journalist and social media personality Kemi Olunloyo has once again ignited debate online after claiming that Priscilla Ojo, daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, and her Tanzanian husband, singer Juma Jux, welcomed their newborn child via surrogacy.
The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child, sharing maternity photos and an emotional message across their social media platforms. The announcement was met with an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans and celebrities alike.
However, in a post made via her Facebook page, Olunloyo alleged that the child had already been born and was not carried by Priscilla herself, but rather through a surrogate mother.
“UPDATE: Jux and Priscilla Mkambala used a surrogate. Congratulations to them on their new son, Baby Mkambala. 3 passports,” she wrote, suggesting the child would hold Nigerian, Tanzanian, and Canadian citizenship.
To support her claim, Olunloyo shared a screenshot of a comment from another social media user alleging the pregnancy was fabricated for public perception. The comment questioned the authenticity of Priscilla’s baby bump and cited alleged fertility issues on the part of Juma Jux.
“This pregnancy is fake… They did surrogacy and want to make people believe she had the baby herself… From the beginning we heard the boy is not productive… Pregnancy of 3 months can’t be as big as this,” the user claimed.
As of the time of this report, neither Priscilla nor Juma Jux has responded to the allegations. The couple’s earlier maternity post, however, did not mention surrogacy and appeared to present Priscilla as the expectant mother.
Olunloyo, who is known for her unfiltered takes and history of controversial celebrity exposés, has yet again polarized opinions online, with some netizens questioning the ethics of making personal revelations without consent or confirmation.
The couple has remained silent amid the growing speculation, and fans await an official statement to address or debunk the claims.
