UK-Based Nigerian Caregiver Sentenced to Prison for Kissing Patient

A Nigerian caregiver working in a UK hospital has been sentenced to prison for kissing a female patient under his care. According to reports, Adewale, the caregiver, was assigned to look after the patient who was in severe pain. In an attempt to comfort her, he allegedly kissed her, which was caught on surveillance footage. 

The patient reported the incident to hospital authorities after it happened for the second time, and an internal investigation was launched. The investigation confirmed that Adewale had indeed kissed the patient, leading to his suspension and subsequent lawsuit for sexual assault.
