Media personality Toke Makinwa has warned men that if they can't afford to pay a woman's bills, they should leave her alone and not label her with derogatory names. In a recent podcast, Makinga argues that people should not let society dictate their standards and that if someone is not what they're looking for, they should move on.
Toke Makinwa also advises people not to judge others based on their choices or lifestyles. She believes that when people criticize others, it's often a reflection of their own insecurities and not the person being criticized. She says, "If somebody is not what you're looking for, cease the urge to start trying to pinpoint what is wrong with them, because it's actually a reflection of you and not them"
Toke Makinwa's message is one of empowerment and self-acceptance. She encourages people to be confident and not let others define their worth. She notes that some people wake up in the morning believing they're the best thing since sliced bread, and if they believe it, who are others to tell them otherwise?
