Sister Stabs Elder Brother to Death in Ondo: A Family Tragedy Unfolds

A tragic incident occurred in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State on Saturday, where an 18-year-old girl, Idowu Biletiri, allegedly stabbed her elder brother, Kehinde Biletiri, to death. According to an eyewitness, the trouble started when the suspect returned home after leaving for some days without any trace of her whereabouts.

The deceased brother queried Idowu about her whereabouts, which seemed to have angered her. In a fit of rage, she went straight for a kitchen knife and stabbed her brother to death. The incident occurred while only the two of them were at home, leaving the community in shock and mourning.

The state Police Command's spokesman, ASP Tee Leo-Ikoro, confirmed the incident but stated that it was reported to Amotekun operatives, not the police. According to him, the police cannot carry out any investigation until the case is officially reported to them.

The incident has thrown the whole community into confusion and mourning, raising questions about the factors that led to the tragic event. As the investigation unfolds, many are left wondering what could have triggered such a violent reaction from the suspect.
