Primate Ayodele's Warning: Tinubu's 2027 Re-Election Bid and the VP Conundrum

Primate Elijah Ayodele, Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu not to replace Vice President Kashim Shettima as his running mate in the 2027 elections. According to Primate Ayodele, Tinubu's re-election bid will divide the north and cause confusion, and to stay blameless, Shettima must remain his running mate.

However, Primate Ayodele warned Tinubu to prepare for a dirty fight with Shettima, likening it to the days of Obasanjo and Atiku. The prophet stated that the fight will make Shettima less relevant in office and may even cause him to shun his office due to the pressure.

Primate Ayodele's prophecy has significant implications for Tinubu's re-election bid. If Tinubu heeds the advice and keeps Shettima as his running mate, it may lead to a tumultuous relationship between the two. On the other hand, replacing Shettima could lead to further division and confusion in the north.

Primate Ayodele also warned Tinubu to be cautious of those joining the APC from opposition blocs, stating that they may end up causing problems in his re-election bid. "Tinubu will have problems from those joining the APC now. Instead of adding to his chances, they may end up deducting from them," he said.
