Pastor Paul Adefarasin Denies Brandishing Firearm in Viral Video

Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House on the Rock Church, has denied allegations that he brandished a firearm during a recent incident in Lagos. In a statement, Adefarasin clarified that the object he held in a viral video was not a firearm and emphasized that he did not point it at anyone.

The video, which circulated widely on social media, captured a moment in traffic where the pastor appeared to display an object from his vehicle window. The incident sparked controversy and debates among Nigerians online, with many questioning the appropriateness of the act.

Adefarasin expressed regret over the misunderstanding caused by the video, stating, "That was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone." He emphasized that the object he held was not a weapon and hoped to put the matter to rest.
