One Year On, Paulina Lamisi Still Missing in Accra: DNA Tests Ongoing

It's been exactly one year since Paulina Lamisi, the Tema West Constituency women’s organiser for the NDC, disappeared from her home in Sowutuom, Accra on June 12, 2024. Despite exhaustive searches by the family and police, she remains missing.

A Grim Discovery

A dismembered female body in a suitcase was found in Tema Community 25 on June 13, 2024. However, family members have confirmed through photos that the remains are not Paulina's.

DNA Hunt for Answers

Suspicions arose that the recovered body could be Paulina’s. Her daughter provided a DNA sample at the police forensic lab, which has been sent to China for analysis. The family awaits results, hopeful for closure.

Investigation Shrouded in Questions

The Ghana Police Service continues its probe, but no lead has definitively traced Paulina’s path. With the DNA results pending, numerous twists remain unresolved.
