Nigerian Soldiers Kill Bandit in Ambush Operation in Taraba State

Soldiers from the 6 Brigade of the Nigerian Army and Sector 3 of Operation Whirl Stroke (OPWS) have killed a suspected bandit and recovered weapons and other items during a military operation in Taraba State. The operation took place on Friday in Ussa Local Government Area, following a tip-off about bandit movements in the area. 

Soldiers from Kwesati were sent to the area and took strategic positions along a route believed to be used by the bandits to get to their hideouts. When the bandits were encountered, a serious gunfight broke out between the two sides. The soldiers overpowered the bandits, forcing them to retreat into the nearby forest. 

After the clash, one bandit was found dead, and weapons along with other items were recovered from the scene. The military operatives assured that they are willing to do everything humanly possible to ensure the area is cleared of all criminal activities.

Mother Disowns 16-Year-Old Daughter Over Leaked Intimate Videos

A mother of four, Mrs. Chinasa, has disowned her 16-year-old daughter, Mmesoma, for leaking her intimate videos with a lover to her husband.
