The family of Abdulrahman Olabode, a corps member who went missing while traveling back to Lagos from Osogbo, is growing increasingly concerned. According to his elder sister, Ghaniyah Olabiyi, Abdulrahman was supposed to attend his passing-out parade, but he never arrived.
Olabiyi recounted that her brother initially informed her of his travel plans while she was busy with household chores. Later, around 7 p.m., she called him to check on his whereabouts. He mentioned being in a vehicle near Ibadan and promised to update her upon arriving in Lagos. However, when her younger sister called Abdulrahman after 9 p.m., his phone was switched off.
Olabiyi reassured her sister that Abdulrahman had mentioned phone issues and that they had spoken around 7 p.m. She advised patience, expecting him to contact them upon reaching Lagos. However, Abdulrahman's in-law in Lagos called, stating he hadn't arrived that night. Olabiyi speculated he might have stayed overnight in Ibadan due to the late hour, but as the hours ticked by, the family's concerns grew.
