Four years after the passing of Prophet TB Joshua, the leader of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), his wife and successor, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, has paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband. In a post shared on her Instagram page, Evelyn reflected on the impact of TB Joshua's life and legacy.
TB Joshua passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 57, after conducting a live broadcast at the SCOAN headquarters in Lagos. His disciples, including Prophetess Anne, Yinka, and Wise Man John Chi, have also joined in paying their tributes. Evelyn noted that despite the pain of loss, TB Joshua's exemplary life continues to inspire millions across the world.
The late televangelist was known for his healing services, charity work, and large international following. Evelyn highlighted that his legacy of faith, love, and charity continues to make a positive impact, supplanting vice with virtue, hunger with fullness, and lack with abundance.
After TB Joshua's death, Evelyn Joshua was appointed leader of SCOAN in September 2021, despite initial resistance from some senior members of the church. She has since taken up the mantle of leadership as Senior Pastor and continues to guide the church's mission.
