Two members of K-pop sensation BTS, RM and V, have completed their mandatory military service in South Korea. The duo was greeted by hundreds of fans, who gathered in front of Hybe's headquarters in central Seoul to celebrate their return.
Fans, some of whom flew in from overseas, dressed in purple, BTS' signature color, and carried large banners and photographs of the two K-pop idols. RM and V greeted fans with salutes and a saxophone performance, with V asking fans to "wait just a little longer" for BTS to reunite.
All seven members of BTS are set to finish their military service by the end of this month, and their agency, Hybe, has hinted at a reunion. Fans are eagerly awaiting the band's comeback, with some planning to attend the annual BTS Festa celebration.
BTS has been on hiatus since 2022, during which time they have been serving in the military. The band's global fame and influence have continued to grow, with BTS becoming the most-streamed group on Spotify and winning numerous awards.
