Atiku Sounds Alarm on Rising Terrorism in Sokoto, Urges FG Action

Former Vice President Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has raised the alarm over the escalating terrorism in Sokoto State, particularly in the Isa local government area. In a post on X, Atiku called on the federal government to urgently intervene in the worsening security situation. 

Atiku emphasized that terrorism poses a serious threat to Nigeria's unity, sowing seeds of distrust and threatening the fabric of the nation. He stressed that the government must take intensified action to address the issue, beyond just the tragic loss of lives. 

The people of Isa Local Government Area are sending out a distress call for help, and Atiku is urging the government and security agencies to act before the situation worsens. He believes that unity and solidarity are key to defeating terrorism, and that collective action is necessary to push back the scourge. 

Atiku emphasized that the greatest strength against terrorism lies not in the barrels of guns but in the unbreakable bond of collective unity. He urged Nigerians to come together to defeat the threat of terrorism and protect the nation's unity.
