Reverend Azzaman David, a well-known Kaduna-based cleric and defender of the Christian faith, has died in a fatal motor accident. Rev. Azzaman, founder and lead pastor of The King Worship Chapel and Ministry, Inc., was returning to Kaduna from Makurdi, Benue State, when the incident occurred.
According to a close associate, Rev. Mohammed Mohammed, the pastor died alone in the vehicle. The details surrounding the crash remain sketchy, but the news of his passing has sparked widespread grief and tributes.
Rev. Azzaman was widely admired for his bold theological debates and interfaith discussions. He frequently engaged Muslim scholars, atheists, and skeptics on social media, drawing large audiences through live video sessions and posts that tackled sensitive issues of doctrine and belief.
Many have described him as a fearless preacher, a teacher of truth, and a voice of courage in the Christian community. "A great soldier of the Lord takes a bow and goes home to wear his crown of glory after having fought a good fight of faith," wrote Mustapha Mushas on Facebook.
Rev. Azzaman leaves behind a wife and children. Funeral arrangements have yet to be officially announced. His sudden death has left a void in the Christian community, and his legacy will continue to inspire many.
