Nigerians Protest in Support of VeryDarkMan, Demand His Immediate Release

A wave of public outrage has swept across Nigeria following the arrest of popular online personality VeryDarkMan (VDM). Nigerians have taken to the streets, holding signs and chanting for his freedom. The protesters are demanding the immediate release of VDM, who was reportedly detained outside a GTBank branch.

According to reports, VDM was visiting the bank with his mother to file a complaint regarding an unauthorized transaction on her account. Witnesses claim that he was apprehended immediately after leaving the bank, although the exact agency responsible for his detention remains unclear.

The news of VDM's arrest spread quickly, and his supporters flooded social media and the streets to demand justice. A video of the protest shows demonstrators calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to release VDM.
