As the world celebrates Children's Day, parents of abducted children in Kano, Nigeria, are consumed by anguish and frustration. The Coalition of Parents for the Abducted Children in Kano State (COPACK) has expressed deep concern over the prolonged detention of their loved ones.
Comrade Isma'ila Ibrahim Muhammad, Chairman of COPACK, urged the Kano State government to prioritize the safe return of the abducted children. "We are praying that these children return to their parents," he said, highlighting the emotional toll on families.
Muhammad emphasized the need for increased vigilance among parents to prevent future abductions. The parents' plea underscores the urgency for effective action to address the growing concern of child abduction in the region.
