A family dispute has erupted among the children of legendary juju musician King Sunny Ade over his well-being and whereabouts. Damilola Esther, one of KSA's daughters, has taken to social media to accuse her step-brother, Dayo, of holding their father hostage and exploiting him for financial gain.
In a series of social media posts, Damilola expressed concern over her father's safety and whereabouts, questioning Dayo's role as his manager. She accused Dayo of booking KSA for events without honoring the engagements and "stealing" from him. However, Dayo has rubbished the allegations, describing them as false.
In an exclusive interview, Dayo stated that KSA is hale and hearty, having performed at a fan's 60th birthday party on April 26, 2025, and rehearsing with his band. He attributed Damilola's accusations to her being "not in the right frame of mind." Dayo also revealed that KSA would release a statement to clear the air and put things in perspective.
David, another son of KSA, has come to Dayo's defense, asserting that their father is fine and not working under duress. He offered to provide proof and evidence to support his claim, stating that Damilola's accusations are unfounded.
